School and Library Visits

How do you get your students excited about reading? How do you inspire them to become writers? One of the best ways to stimulate an interest in books is to make reading relevant and fun. Diane Belinfanti offers book reading programs that bring her stories and poems to life. Book presentations begin with pre-reading activities that draw on the children’s personal experiences. From early grade readers to middle grade students, children are encouraged to become active participants in the reading process. Book presentations close with a post-reading activity geared to the ages and interests of the listening audience.

Teachers, administrators, librarians, and all others interested in a book presentation

should contact Diane Belinfanti at:

We look forward to hearing from you and sharing our wonderful stories with your children.

A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR

Ever since I was a child, I loved to read and write. Reading opened so many new and exciting worlds to me. Writing gave me the opportunity to express my thoughts and feelings in so many ways and about so many things. As a teacher, I make reading part of my students’ lives in the classroom. As an author, I encourage my students to take risks with their words and to believe in themselves as writers. By my example, I try to show young people that the key to success is to believe in oneself, work hard, and always aim for the sky.
